Sunrise Wisconsin Lake Session

Sunrise sessions are always special, and this one by the lake in Madison, WI, was no exception. The couple started off relaxing on an air mattress with cozy blankets, soaking in the peaceful vibe of the morning. Everything felt so natural—just two people in love, enjoying a quiet moment together.

Halfway through, they casually mentioned they were expecting their first baby. Talk about a surprise twist! Suddenly, the session felt even more meaningful. We added a few subtle touches to celebrate, like hands resting on her belly and those sweet, knowing glances.

The whole thing was so effortless and fun, with the excitement of their new chapter shining through in every shot. By the end, the sun was fully up, and I couldn’t help but feel lucky to capture such a special moment for them. Sometimes the best surprises make the best memories!
