I’m Maggie, and I’m so glad you’re here, taking the time to get to know me! I’m a wandering soul and discovering beautiful outdoor places is where I feel most alive and truly happy. I hope you’ll find some things we have in common or feel a connection to my work. Whether I’ll be spending your wedding day with you or creating beautiful boudoir images for you, it’s important for you to make sure I’m a great fit for you.
What inspires me most is documenting the real love of couples or helping women feel empowered through boudoir photography. Both boudoir and couples photography allow me to document moments of vulnerability, love, and connection, creating images that you’ll cherish forever.

My Why
I married my husband, Derek, on our 8th anniversary on 07.03.24. We met our junior year of college, quickly began dating, and have been together ever since. We chose to marry in the mountains of Colorado as that’s where we met, fell in love, and felt most at home. He was born and raised in the mountains of CO and continually inspires me with his adventurous and fearless spirit. We’ve been through a lot together over the years and he’ll always be my favorite person in the world. I’m forever grateful to have found such an incredible person to spend my life with.
We have a 5 year old male boxer/cocker spaniel mix named Finn that we rescued from a shelter in the mountains of Colorado. This little guy had been abandoned and he seemed to be the perfect fit for us. We’ve bonded so much over the past 5 years and we are 3 peas in a pod doing everything together. He loves the dog park, blankets, sleeping under the covers, playing in the water, and getting treats.
A Glimpse of Me:
I’ve lived in 4 different states. I spent my first 20 years of life in a rural farm town in Central Illinois. I moved to Fort Collins, CO to finish school. After graduation Derek and I moved to Santa Barbara, CA for half a year. It wasn’t the best fit for us and we wound up back in Colorado in a suburb of Denver. We spent a year living in Aspen, CO (where Derek grew up) with Derek’s family. And now we currently call Madison, WI home - at least for now ;)
My happy place is in the mountains or desert. I feel most alive when I’m surrounded by mountain peaks or exploring vast desert landscapes. I’m drawn to travel destinations that are off the beaten path—places that feel remote and untouched, like the rugged landscapes of Iceland or the vast, otherworldly deserts of Utah. I love exploring these hidden corners of the world where nature is raw and untamed.
I have a variety of hobbies to keep me inspired. I enjoy spending my free time hiking, skiing, reading thrillers or romance novels, traveling to new places, backpacking, camping, cooking, playing board games, drinking craft beer + margaritas, and hanging with my friends + family.
I’m a deep thinker. I love having meaningful conversations about life, psychology, emotions - anything real and vulnerable. I am a big empath and really enjoy getting to know people on a deeper level.
I’m also a Licensed Aesthetician in Wisconsin + Colorado. I became an esthetician 5yrs ago and absolutely love helping and watching people feel confident in their own skin. When I’m not photographing couples in my spare time, I’m working as the clinic coordinator for BLUR Aesthetics.
